Loving you.. finding myself

Loving you feels like loving myself,  when I talk of good things, when I smile at little things, while sitting alone & distant, I feel connected to you.. Loving you feels like knowing myself, and knowing you.. so much peace, energy & happiness  flows through this thought. Yet letting you go feels like a ritual, as my philosophies make me stay detached.. life goes on.. moments pass by, another memory of yours accompanies me,  in this moment of silence that I breathe.. -- Gagandeep

Strikes.

Varying ideas/ lost. Various bonds/ closed.  Act of letting go/ evolution.  That’s what growing up looks like/ reality strikes.

Don't write poetry, if you have a choice to read it, Don't act, rather watch a play,  every time you're presented a choice. For every chance of learning from artists is a joy you must experience, a memory you must register, an inspiration that'll enforce the burning desire of expression  within you and present you with strength to write your poetry and enact your own story. - Gagandeep Singh Vaid

dreams of a better india

If you can say a little,   feel a little..   believe me,   you are alive What is left,   is a tinch of hope.. words are bound by the throat, feelings stay like a wound   done by a pointed sword Yet we continue to   exist, watching the clouds upwards and with anguish wanting them to disappear ‘No’ one deserved to be like this.. or do I mean, the ‘privileged ones’? ‘coz the poor ‘felt’ this since forever, nothing new for ‘em to bear the brunt of a corrupt system They say spread positivity as if reality was a superficial thing.. they say you do propaganda when what you ask is ‘life’ and   good ‘air-to-breathe’! Artists do express, students do analyse, the ‘youth’ of the nation wants to secretly live a better life.. the one it studies in the textbooks where chosen leaders pave the way for better society,  and be the voice of the voiceless.. they are my only hope of a better India  -- gagandeep

First love to last..

The first time you fell in love you were introduced to magic and ran into imaginations wanting to be together The last time you fell in love you knew how to act as a mature lover least expecting and enjoying the idea of being special to someone without ever being together - Gagandeep
